The Omega co-ed team have fallen into a good rhythm.  Playing an aggressive defensive strategy that works to intercept the ball as it comes through mid-field, the team spent most of last night's game in the attacking half. We shut-out the other team, 6-0, and could have scored many more.  Only once or twice did our defense lose concentration: because we were pushing forward, playing at the half-way line when the ball was forward, we were vulnerable when the ball was punted towards our goal. On two or three occasions we were short-handed on breakaways.  But Brad played well in goal, keeping a clean sheet and we managed to consolidate our position at top of the league with a 4-1-0 record (three games to go).

It was Manny's last game before his ankle-surgery.  We wish him well through the operation and will be thinking of him as he makes a speedy recovery!

Next co-ed game is on Jan 23 at 6:30, followed by games at 12:30 (yes, after midnight!) on Feb 6 and 8:30 on Feb 13.

Final Men's game of the season is Jan 14 at 10:30.
